I’m Katie. I’m an animator and computer graphics pipeline developer.
I was a previs artist and technical director on Avatar: The Way of Water and Avatar: Fire and Ash. Prior to that, I worked as an animation designer for the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute.
My toolset includes Maya, Motionbuilder, the Adobe Suite, Python, TouchDesigner, HTML/CSS, and git. I have worked as an artist and developer in virtual production and game engine workflows, using both out-of-the box functionality and properietary extensions.

On the side, I do tech-augmented fortune-telling. Fortune-telling has a rich history as interactive entertainment. The history of American animation overlaps substantially with fortune-telling in the context of vaudeville and traveling carnivals.
